Pelco offers four attractively designed PVM models. The PMP20B/W integrates a 20-inch high brightness, high contrast, and WDR camera with a 3 mm to 9.5 mm varifocal lens. The PMP26B/W integrates a 26-inch high brightness, high contrast, and WDR camera with a 3 mm to 9.5 mm varifocal lens. Both models are available in either black or white. These monitors are both an effective loss prevention and marketing tool. The built-in memory card reader enhances marketing capabilities by allowing preloaded presentations to play continuously. The memory card readers supports the following formats: JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg, progressive), MP3, MPEG 1/2/4 (including MPEG-4 V2 and V3), DivX (version 4.x). The PVM's motion detection feature switches the monitor into surveillance mode when someone passes through the detection zone. The built-in light sensor conserves energy by putting the monitor in sleep mode when the lights go out. The WDR camera in a PVM uses a pixel-based imager that adjusts for lighting conditions by pixel. This ensures the best image under difficult lighting conditions, allowing installation in brightly lit entrances.
